Dual Meet #5 HOME vs. Village West
Long Branch Dolphins
Start: 9:00 AM
This is the fifth and final A meet of our season! We will be at HOME and hosting Village West! Please arrive no later than 7:45am and be ready to warmup at 8:05am. Have your swimmer pack his/her bag on Friday evening. Include googles, swim cap, and two towels. Mark your swimmers clothing/spirit wear with their name. Swim caps must either display Long Branch swim team or not have writing. Swim caps with another team’s logo or insignia cannot be worn. Bring/apply sun screen and bug spray. Bring a “camp chair” so your swimmer has a place to sit between events. Pack a snack to include water. Our concessions will be open. Swimmers should NOT leave the team area unless they tell a coach or team rep. 8&U parents are welcome to sit with their kids in the team area in between events. Let’s remember good sportsmanship! Please be respectful to the officials, swimmers, and other parents. Parents, if you are volunteering or available to volunteer, please wear a white shirt and blue bottoms. IM Carnival at Canterbury Woods

Swimmers will compete in 100 individual medley. This is a fun fast meet and swimmers last chances to get IM times for divisionals. LOCATION: Canterbury Woods Swim Club at 5101 Southampton Drive in Annandale PARKING: The parking lot is big and you can park along the neighborhood streets. TEAM AREAS: See attached document referencing team areas. WARM UP SCHEDULE: TBD TIMELINE: 4:40-5:50 Warm ups 5:35pm Referee Meeting with S&T 5:40 Timers Meeting 5:55pm National Anthem 6:00pm Meet Starts CONCESSIONS: CW's concession stand will be open for the meet. T-SHIRTS: We will have a limited amount of IM Carnival t-shirts for sale. OFFICIALS: Stroke & Turn Judges and Chief Timer - Please arrive at Canterbury Woods pool by 5:25pm for briefings. SAFETY MARSHALS: Please arrive at 4:30pm so you can be on deck before our swimmers warm up at 4:40pm. Volunteers: We need 3 lane timers, 1 clerk of course and 1 safety marshal. If you have a swimmer participating please sign up to help. |

The Swim Team hosts raft night every Thursday during the pool season from 6-9pm (arrival 5pm). We sell concessions to raise funds to pay our coaches and buy equipment for the team. NVSL Divisionals
Rutherford Water Rats
Start: 8:30 AM
Each NVSL Division has an Individual Championship meet, commonly referred to as "Divisionals." This meet includes two heats of each stroke for each age group and IM, and each team is allowed to enter only two swimmers for each event. The event order rotates every year and there are two sessions – a morning session and an early afternoon session. Swimmers select the events they would prefer to participate in; however, final selection is based on swimmer’s times. Since only the two fastest swimmers in a stroke are entered in Divisionals, a swimmer is advised to select his/her fastest strokes when considering possible Divisionals participation. A swimmer can enter no more than two events. The heats are then seeded with the swimmers with the fastest times in the second heat.If a team does not have two swimmers for an event, the other teams can bid in other swimmers to fill the empty lanes. In filling the empty lanes, priority is given to swimmers with the fastest times in the event. When this happens, an event could have more than two swimmers from one team. However, each swimmer is still limited to swimming in only two events. |

Dolphin’s End of Year Awards and Pot Luck Dinner When: Saturday, July 25 Time: 5:00pm -10:00pm Where: Long Branch Pool What: Swimming, “Paper Plate Awards” and end of year Slide Show Parents if you are not volunteering at Divisionals we need you to help with banquet set up. Set up will begin at 4pm. This is the most special event for our swimmers and we truly need all hands to pull it off. We need 6 additional long folding tables, if you have a table please let us know.
