Dual Meet #1 at Hollin Hills
Hollin Hills Swim Team
Start: 9:00 AM

This is the first A meet of our season! We will be at Hollin Hills Pool at 1602 Paul Spring Road, Alexandria. Please arrive no later than 8:10 and be ready to warmup at 8:25am.

Have your swimmer pack his/her bag on Friday evening. Include googles, swim cap, and two towels.

Mark your swimmers clothing/spirit wear with their name.

Swim caps must either display Long Branch swim team or not have writing. Swim caps with another team’s logo or insignia cannot be worn.

Bring/apply sun screen and bug spray.

Bring a “camp chair” so your swimmer has a place to sit between events.

Pack a snack to include water. Our concessions will be open.

Swimmers should NOT leave the team area unless they tell a coach or team rep. 8&U parents are welcome to sit with their kids in the team area in between events.

Let’s remember good sportsmanship! Please be respectful to the officials, swimmers, and other parents.

Parents, if you are volunteering or available to volunteer, please wear a white shirt and blue bottoms.

B Meet HOME vs. Canterbury Woods
Long Branch Dolphins
Start: 6:00 PM

We will be hosting Canterbury Woods swim team at Long Branch.

What to bring: Long Branch swim suit & cap, a foldable chair, sunscreen, bug spray, water/Gatorade & snacks. 

Our team area will be on a grassy area in full sun so we will bring tents for shade. Please be on time as warmups begin at 5PM. We will have our concessions open for burgers etc.

Little Dolphins are welcome to join the fun as the meet will kick off with 10m free and 10m back in the dive well with coaches. The order of events will then be free, back, breast, fly then IM. No relays at B meets.

Lastly, we need volunteers! If you children are swimming we will need you to signup. Thank you!

Raft Night 6/25
Long Branch
Start: 5:00 PM
End: 9:00 PM

The Swim Team hosts raft night every Thursday during the pool season from 6-9pm (arrival 5pm). We sell concessions to raise funds to pay our coaches and buy equipment for the team. Every family is expected to volunteer at least once during the season. Thanks for your support!

Team Breakfast (9-10 boys; 9-10 girls)

Team Breakfast will be hosted by the 9-10 Boys and 9-10 Girls.  If your swimmer is in that age group please sign up to provide 2 breakfast items for our hungry team! If you will not be here please arrange for a friend to bring your items.  Signup genius is here.

Long Branch Pool

End: 7:00 PM

We will have a Pep Rally at the pool from 6-7pm! Let the coaches pump up your kids while the adults enjoy some social time!

Team Movie: Toy Story 5
University Mall Movie Theatre
Start: 10:30 AM
End: 12:30 PM (estimated)

We have the theatre to ourselves at University Mall to watch Toy Story 5 together as a team!  The movie will start at 10:45am on Monday 6/29 which is a B-meet day.  Parents are welcome to join!  For those parents with swimmers 8 and over if you are dropping them off- please walk them into the theatre to link up with the team.

Please use SwimTopia to RSVP so we have a head count!

The cost is $10 per person which includes a drink and popcorn.  We do need to collect payment- you can give cash or a check (Long Branch Dolphins) to Leanne, Masha or Coach Scott.
